Nuevo Firefox 3.0.1

Unas semanas después de que exactamente 8.002.530 personas se  bajaron Firefox 3 durante las 24 horas siguientes a su publicación, y que con ello la convirtieran  en la aplicación de software más descargada en un solo día de todo el mundo, esta noche al encender mi pc descubrí que una señal de alerta llamaba mi atención, era firefox advirtiendo que tenia a mi disposición totalmente gratis la nueva actualización. Después de repasarme las novedades que nos trae el nuevo navegador resumo lo mas interesante:

  • Solucionados varios problemas de seguridad.
  • Arreglados varios problemas se estabilidad.
  • Solucionado un problema en el que la base de datos antifraudes y programas maliciosos no se actualizaba al ejecutarse por primera vez.
  • Bajo ciertas circunstancias, Firefox 3.0 no guardaba la lista de excepciones de los certificados SSL.
  • Solucionado un problema en Linux por el que a los usuarios con conexiones PPP (modem o DSL) Firefox se iniciaba siempre en modo “Sin conexión” (bug 424626).
